
Yakup Krespi
Prof. Dr. Yakup Krespi graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and subsequently received neurology training in Paris. After working at Beaujon Hospital in France, he returned to Turkey and worked at Istanbul University in the field of cerebrovascular diseases, playing a significant role in the establishment of the stroke unit and the neurosonology department.
Since 2005, he has founded and managed stroke centers and neurological intensive care units in various hospitals; at the same time, he continued his academic career and became an associate professor. He holds active memberships and positions in numerous neurology associations in Turkey and internationally.
